Roslyn V. Pilla : President

Everything Roslyn V. Pilla has achieved in the past 18 years has led her to launch Eightegrity, her newly re-branded marketing communications firm.

Roz graduated cum laude from the nation’s first and only women’s visual arts college, Moore College of Art & Design.  From the beginning of her career, Roslyn dedicated herself to excellence, going above and beyond the task at hand. She worked with a leading pharmaceutical agency in a junior position and developed production standards, which were recognized by the agency’s largest client, Merck & Co. She then took a consulting position at Tyco Toys (then the nation’s third largest toy company) and was responsible for managing five product lines and supporting the creative director in running the internal department.

When Roz established her own business, Pilla Creative Group, she propelled it to $1.2 million in revenues (a 200% growth) in just 24 months.  Her company was selected to work with some of the most recognized brands including American Express, British Airways, eBay, SunGard Availability Services, and Warner Bros.

Pilla Creative Group became known for helping clients achieve their business goals by providing exceptional creative direction, strategy, and graphic design services. Their work with American Express included designing and launching brand programs for both business-to-business and internal audiences in 30 countries around the world. Under Roslyn’s direction, her team helped SunGard transform from a disaster recovery organization to an information services company through creating a new brand image and standards for all communication materials used both nationally and internationally.

As the marketplace and the communications environment changed, the company continued to grow and evolve with it. The new brand, Eightegrity, reflects the company’s evolution and its expanded capabilities. What has not changed is Roz and her group’s total commitment to client service, exploring infinite creative possibilities, and to conducting business with the highest level of integrity.

Roz’s thriving business has not precluded her from volunteering her time and services to a variety of organizations. She actively supports her alma mater, Moore College of Art & Design, by advising students on internships and job placement, developing and teaching advanced workshops for alumni, and raising money for program expansions.  Over the past decade, she has been highly active in the Greater Philadelphia National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), having served on the board as well as facilitated regional monthly meeting groups.  Roz has also donated her time to non-profit organizations such as the Philadelphia Arts In Education Partnership, The Career Wardrobe, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and KidZone Philadelphia; as well as professional organizations including the Philadelphia Public Relations Association and American Marketing Association.

Kelly Donahue : Senior Art Director

Kelly brings outstanding leadership and art direction to every project she touches. For almost 10 years, her passion for design, photography, typography and fine art has led her to create outstanding solutions for clients such as American Express, Comcast, Campbell’s Soup, Philadelphia Federal Credit Union, and The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill.

Every day, Kelly transitions seamlessly from the science of production to the art of the creative process. She mastered this strategic balance early in her career when she started as a production artist at a printing company and then joined Pilla Creative Group as a graphic designer. Here, she was quickly recognized for her outstanding project management skills and took on senior level responsibilities.

As a creative director, Kelly excels at managing all aspects of the creative process. She has a track record of developing highly successful campaigns, including the national product launch for V8 Fusion’s Acai Berry juice. This launch took place over one weekend in 50 spas across the country. Kelly directed and produced the entire kit of branded items including slick sheets, banners and stands, t-shirts, pitchers, cups, buttons, custom-made scented candles, and more. Her leadership in each stage of the project ensured that the client’s vision was implemented successfully.

The range and quality of experience Kelly offers cannot be overstated. Her print production expertise is astounding. She can design environmental graphics, direct mail, and everything in between. And her interest in the ever-evolving world of web keeps her on the cutting-edge of graphic design and marketing.

Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude from Moore College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in Graphic Design. She is an active member of the Women In Cable Television Philadelphia Chapter, a devoted mother, a soccer enthusiast, and an avid tea drinker.

Natalie Vespe : Junior Graphic Designer

Natalie makes the difficult task of design and production look easy. She supports our team by assisting in the execution of projects from start to completion—focusing on the nuances of design and preparing files for a variety of production requirements including offset and digital printing, environmental graphics and online media. During her time with Eightegrity, she has worked on regional projects for the City of Philadelphia and University of the Sciences as well as national accounts including Resource Residential and Waypoint Outcomes.

It's all about attitude and Natalie has a great one. She is a true team player both at work and on the soccer field, where she loves to spend her free time. Throughout her college experience, she has played for the Philadelphia University Lady Rams, serving as captain for the past two years. She also served on the Student-Athlete advisory committee for four years and will kick off the 2011 Fall Semester as Assistant Coach for her team.

Natalie is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design Communication from Philadelphia University. Her drawings were selected to be exhibited in the 2009 Phil au Push Pin Exhibition. She enjoys hand-drawing illustrations and adding other hand-done elements to her design pieces, such as stitching and custom paper structures that make them stand apart from the rest.

Tracy Kirkendall : Marketing Coordinator

Communication is critical to success, and Tracy Kirkendall makes sure that every message, both internally to our team and externally to our client’s and their target audiences are in line and on time. Tracy shares Eightegrity’s passion and commitment to supporting art and education. Prior to joining Eightegrity, Tracy created communication plans, and is most proud of her work with the Philadelphia Art Alliance. She contributes to our team daily, managing the flow of detailed projects and conducts on-going market research efforts in order for our team to evaluate and provide client’s with the most current industry intelligence.

Her calm, cool and collected approach to problem-solving reflects the highly analytical thinking that she brings to executing communication plans and projects.

Tracy graduated Cum Laude from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication and a Concentration in Public Relations. Tracy served as PR and Marketing Intern for The Gershman Y, where her efforts to write press releases, maintain the center’s website, develop email blasts, and connect with local media outlets helped garner attention and increase attendance at several center events.

Catch Tracy on the weekend and you may find her reading a Harry Potter book, going for a motorcycle joyride, or playing with her dog Gizmo, a dead ringer for his namesake from the 1984 movie gem, Gremlins.

Kristin Bigness : Assistant Art Director

One design does not fit all, but one designer certainly does. Kristin is deeply passionate about directing and designing pieces that truly communicate each client’s uniqueness—and it shows. Her dedication to her craft ensures that every piece she touches is beautiful, professional, and precisely designed to capture attention and communicate the brand message. Recently, she has worked on creative solutions for Estia Restaurant, Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), Resource Residential, Keystone Foods, Our Water Our Rights, Waypoint Outcomes, and Philadelphia’s own Wawa Welcome America! Festival, an 11-day long celebration that attracts more than a million people to celebrate the 4th of July in the City of Brotherly Love.

A true lover of knowledge, Kristin supports her design skills with creative writing, thoughtful concepts, and avid research. She has an uncanny attention to detail, ensuring that her solutions are tailored specifically for each client, are consistent with brand and campaign standards, and are prepared meticulously for production. She continuously builds strong relationships with vendors and clients over the past 12 months, managing information and production to make sure deadlines are met and clients are satisfied.

Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design Communication from Philadelphia University, where her portfolio was ranked third in her class. Her work not only gained recognition within her department, but on an international level when one of her package design concepts was published in the 2010 Graphis New Talent Annual. In 2008, she studied at the internationally recognized Glasgow School of Art, where she produced work that gained Semifinalist recognition from the Adobe Design Achievement Awards.

In addition to her design work, Kristin is a musician and singer/songwriter. Her love of music, quirky sense of humor, and appetite for learning not only form her distinctive personality, but also ensure her perpetual growth as a designer.
